The Robertshaw's family have been bringing local food to your dinner plates for 4 generations. Grandad Harry Robertshaw opened up his butchers shop in Halifax. His son Andrew would often help out at the shop - this was when the idea of Robertshaw's Farm Shop first began.
Andrew Robertshaw moved to the farm where we are now. He began selling potatoes at the side of the road and, over the years, extra barns were added as well as a shop.
As a small boy, James Robertshaw, Andrew's son, worked in the shop. James added a butchery and learnt the Robertshaw's butchery skills passed down through the generations. In the year 2000, Andrew sadly passed away and James inherited the shop.
As the shop grew we decided we needed an update to keep up with the times and were professionally re-branded. We changed the name to Keelham Farm Shop and won numerous awards along the way.
In 2019 we changed the name of the shop to Robertshaw's Farm Shop: the family name. Harley Robertshaw, James' son, joined the team and is a butcher like his father. He'll be the fourth generation Robertshaw.
