Welcome to Robertshaw's Farm Shop
We're a family business situated on the hills in Bronte Country, Thornton, Bradford. Our award-winning farmshop is situated on our working sheep farm. We produce our own prime lambs for our award-winning butchers. We're more than just a farm shop with our Garden Centre, Bakery and Animal Petting Croft.
Robertshaw's Since 1929
The Robertshaw's family have been bringing local food to your dinner plates for 4 generations.

1929
Where It All Began
Grandad Harry Robertshaw opened up his butchers shop in Halifax. His son, Andrew would often help out at the shop. this when the idea of Robertshaw's Farm Shop first began.

1974
The Start of The Farm Shop
Andrew Robertshaw moved to the farm where we are now. We began selling potatoes at the side of the road and over the years, extra barns were added and a shop grew.

2000
3rd Generation Robertshaw
As a small boy, James Robertshaw, Andrew's son, worked in the shop. James added a butchery and learnt the Robertshaw's butchery skills passed down through the generations. In 2000 Andrew Sadly passed away and James inherited the shop.

2012
Professional Re-Brand
As the shop grew we decided we needed an update to keep up with the times and we then re-branded. We changed the name to Keelham Farm Shop and won numerous awards along the way.

2019
The Family Name
In 2019 we changed the name of the shop to Robertshaw's Farm Shop the family name. Harley Robertshaw, James Son has joined the team and is training to follow his Father's footsteps in becoming a butcher. He'll be the fourth generation Robertshaw.
The Farm Shop
We’re third generation farmers and butchers. The shop is situated on our working sheep farm and we produce our own prime lambs. We rearover 200 breading ewes and produce just over 350 lambs. The lambs we produce onthe farm are sold in the farm shop by our team of 30 butchers who have over 200years of experience between them, meaning nothing goes to waste.
We have great relationships with local farmers and buy thebest quality meat in Yorkshire auction marts. I, James visit at least threeauctions a week, often buying award winning beasts.
Fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables. A beautiful rainbow as you enter the shop. you'll notice we dont package our fruit and veg, we try where possible to leave it loose so that you can buy as much or as as little as you like, while looking after the environment.
We hand pick our produce and it arrives fresh every morning before we open, direct from the markets and growers. You'll find it lasts much longer than the supermarket produce as it gets to your plate much quicker from when it has been picked.
You'll find wines to complement your meal which have all been handpicked by us. We have a huge range of Yorkshire Gins and Tonics and we have been awarded by CAMRA for our range of Yorkshire regional beers. We one have of the largest ranges in Yorkshire! We also have a selection of beers and ciders from around the world,a long with a selection of spirits.
We are proud that 95% of our delicatessen produce is from Yorkshire. We home roast our cooked meats using meat from our butchers. Our award-winning pies are homemade in our bakery. We also create our own salads and pizzas and work closely with local suppliers to bring you authentic curries, cheeses and soups.
The Bakery
Freshly baked
Our team work through the night to create freshly baked breads, confectionary and pies. Everything is made from scratch from recipes passed down through generations.
