Grilled Pineapple

Sticky, caramelised pineapple wedges. Make sure you’ve got a napkin handy as they are very juicy!

  • 1 Pineapple, peeled and cored
  • 1 Lime, juice only
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 Tsp Ground Ginger

To serve: yoghurt or ice cream

How to:

  1. Cut the pineapple into 8 wedges and place in a large bowl. Add the lime juice, maple syrup and ginger. Mix until the pineapple is coated.
  2. Place the wedges on the BBQ and cook until slightly charred- the charring adds the flavour and caramelises the pineapple. Turn the wedges until all sides have slightly charred.
  3. Remove from the BBQ and serve with ice cream or a dollop of yoghurt.
